This Scale Maille Pouch/ Dice Bag is made completely of Aluminum Scales and Rings. It is made in the modern scalemaille style (this is what chainmaillers use now) and is not knit together with yarn.
It includes a velvet drawstring pouch you can slide inside the scale bag if you worry about your precious items banging around in the metal!
We string a satin cord through the top to pull it closed, but you could easily change it out to leather if you chose to.

This pouch is perfect for dice and gaming. The velvet pouch can hold a full set of dice- 10 or more- and a full deck of playing cards also fits in the scale pouch. It is also great as a Renaissance or Fantasy accessory for Faires or Cons and even makes a unique evening bag! It is great for men or women.
It is available in a large variety of colors. You can choose a solid color, 2 colors, or a premixed color pattern from this listing. If you have an idea, but don't see it here, just message me and I will see what I can do.
The available colors are:
Red, Orange, Brushed Gold (this is a lighter yellowy gold), Mirrored Gold (super Shiny), Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Brushed Silver (nearly Matte), Mirrored Silver (Super Shiny), Black, Frost (a powdery silver-white), Champagne and Bronze.
Rainbow will have stripes of Red, Bronze, Orange, Brushed Gold, Green, Blue, Purple and Pink. You can choose a top color if you like.
"Water mix" colors are green, blue and purple.
"Fall mix" colors are red, orange, gold, mirrored gold, shiny copper, champagne and bronze
"Gold Mix" is Mirrored Gold, Brushed Gold and Champagne
"Silver Mix" is Mirrored Silver, Brushed Silver and Frost
"Pumpkin Spice Latte" is Orange, Bronze and Champagne
"Loki" is Green, Bronze, Black and Gold stripes
"Captain America" is blue on the top with wide red and frost stripes.
"Harley Quinn" is red and black diamonds with frost scales and frost tags at the top.
'Wonder Woman" is Red, Gold, Blue and frost (photo available)
"Steampunk" is a mix of unique scales. These scales are "imperfect" because they came from the manufacturer with smudges, streaks or a film on them. They are clean, they just don't match or regular scales. They are PERFECT for a steampunk pouch. The majority will be Champagne and Bronze, with possibly some black, gold, and/or silver scales. This pouch also has gear charms hanging from the top (like the tags on the Harley pouch).
If you want just one color, or one of our specialty color options, choose the main color in the first option and NO OTHER COLOR in the top color option.
If you want one main color with a different top color, choose the main color first, then the top color second. You can choose a top color for the rainbow pouch. All other Specialty pouches will not include a top color.
The inside of the scale pouch has an approximate circumference of 8 inches. The outside circumference is about 9 inches. It is 5 inches at it's deepest point (about 4.5 inches average). Laid flat on a table it is about 5 inches long and 4 inches wide.
The velvet pouch is about 3.5-4 inches tall and 3-3.5 inches wide. This may vary.
